Back pain is the most common complaint that I treat as a chiropractor in my San Diego clinic.  Patients hurt their backs by lifting improperly, sitting with bad posture, working on surfaces that are too low, falls, accidents, etc.  Regardless of the mechanism of injury, an episode of back pain will give you a whole new understanding of how it can negatively impact your life. Improving Posture

Improving posture is a common goal for many of the patients of my San Diego Chiropractic practice.  Bad posture is encouraged by almost all of the electronic gizmos (smartphone, tablet, laptop, i-whatever) that we use today.  In addition to making us look unappealing visually, bad posture hurts.  Poor posture causes neck pain, back pain, headaches, shoulder pain, low back pain, etc. Continue reading “Improving Posture”

Treating Pinched Nerves

Treating pinched nerves is common practice for chiropractors. Pinched nerves in the neck can cause pain, numbness and tingling and weakness in the arms and hands. When the pinched nerve occurs in the lower back, similar symptoms are found in the legs which are referred to as sciatica.

Treating Severe Low Back Pain

As a chiropractor in San Diego, treating severe low back pain is part of my daily routine. Unfortunately, there is a percentage of patients who ignore their symptoms and let their health problems worsen before they seek treatment. Treating severe low back pain takes more care and attention than typical examples of low back pain and results don’t come as fast as some would like. That is why I always recommend that patients take their symptoms seriously and don’t delay getting treatment.
