Dieting isn't a bad word but it does seem to set us up for failure.  We need to look at healthy ways of eating and combine them with exercise, stretching and proper nutritional supplementation in order to create a lifestyle of wellness and balance.  It is important to remember that weight loss isn't necessarily a road to health.  There are many paths to losing weight and as we all know, many of them are not healthy.  At my clinic we feel that we address weight loss using a complete approach with safety and practicality being paramount to your success.  

Many people stop exercising because of back pain or neck pain.  After spending years of your life sitting at a desk or doing other sedentary tasks, it is not uncommon to not only exercise with less frequency but to also development aches and pains secondary to work related stresses.  Any health centered weight loss plan has to include exercise.  With many of our patients, their weight loss begins with utilizing chiropractic care to relieve the painful symptoms that have forced our patients to slow or stop exercising.  As painful symptoms are relieved, exercising and stretching can begin without risk of injury and further set backs.

Along with exercise, we recommend a healthy diet that includes whole foods and proper nutritional support when indicated.  We use and recommend the Standard Process 21 Day Purification Program  to help you with your weight loss journey.  This program will help cleanse your system of the toxins that we breath, eat and drink on a daily basis.  Detoxifying your system will naturally promote weight loss.
